LARGE SELECTION OF Adventure ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE RAIN OR SHINE!!

As well as the activities listed individually below we realise that many people want to come and ‘have a go’ at a variety of the activities we offer.

Local Junior School visit to our outdoor centre for a weeks activity camp

In 2010 we are offering All Day Adventure walks, you will meet our instructors at the centre and then be taken on one of our circuits during which you will be able to try many of our activities including abseiling, climbing, caving and canoeing.

We can provide a picnic lunch which can be taken at one of the many stunning viewpoints which are hidden away off the beaten track near our centre.

We firmly believe that this is a fantastic opportunity to get  away from the TV and get a real taste of adventure and fresh air.

Rock Climbing

Instructor lead adventure Day

The exciting challenge of climbing a rock face and the thrill of abseiling, from part of our ‘Yat Rock’ Programme.

From an initial briefing on safety and rock climbing procedure, you progress under instruction to working in pairs; having the added assurance of our specialist fail-safe equipment.

Symonds Yat is well known as an excellent climbing venue and has no shortage of routes to match the requirements

of all groups. For those with some climbing experience, our guides can lead and rig more difficult routes and demonstrate the most up to date equipment and manoeuvres.
