- Full private vhf radio frequency back up, for support. The three minibuses are fitted with vhf radios along with 2 base stations, one at the river side and one at our outdoor centre with a 30 mile range. Also duty member of staff carries a hand held mobile.

Experienced river guides are available for hire to oversee a fun and safe experience if you prefer it.

They provide Advice on how to paddle efficiently,Advice on stop off places,secluded
picnic spots and sites of special interest,such as some of the rare Wildlife.
Available for £70 1/2 day and £110 for the day as a shared cost between the group.
High River Level Conditions
Use of a river guide in higher than normal canoe hire river conditions for the less experienced, will be necessary.In high river levels we will insist on river guides to accompany you down the river safely,we can also adapt 2 canoes into a totally stable craft for these conditions to provide a safe and dry river trip.
