Had a great time today took our 7 and 4 year old on the River Wye in a Canoe!
Only for an hour but it was great fun for all the family.
Recommend it for £18 for the hour, could have had longer but the hour was enough for the little one.
I would like to thank every one at Wyedean for a really wonderful and memorable weekend of canoeing. GREAT staff and very helpful and patient with novices such as myself.
A very positive response to our canoeing session- children thoroughly enjoyed it (highlight of the week for the majority). Being able to paddle so far down the river also allowed children to see so much of the river rather than focus on speed and agility. As adults, we also preferred the opportunity for children to use strength and develop their technique – some real teamwork was developed rather than shouting at one another during games, which we have seen in the past!
James was a credit to your centre, with motivation for children and great relationships and interactions.
Also thank you for your continued updates before the visit and flexibility.

I came canoeing in the Wye Valley with 6 other friends for the weekend and we had a great time!
Despite the recent rain the team managed to get us out on the water and we had a lot of fun.
All the staff were really helpful. We were impressed with the campsite too- lovely location and clean toilets and showers. Thanks very much!
I took 5 family members down the river from Kerne Bride on the 1/2 day trip and what an excellent way to spend an afternoon it was too!
We hired 3 of the 2 man canoes from the very friendly and helpful staff, who transported us via mini bus to the upstream location. It is all so well organised, that it instantly put the more apprehensive members of our crew, whom had not done anything like this before, completely at ease.
Very professional and highly recommended, I can’t wait to get back and try some of the other activities!
